Story
Mi’yu grew up in Leonyan, a large forest-city where magic and the arts are celebrated. The prestigious Guild of Magical Arts is based there, surrounded by skilled artisans of various races — mostly feline, likely due to their natural agility.
Mi’yu has always felt that something shimmered above her brushes.
A recognized artist and painter affiliated with the Guild, she left behind a comfortable career to embrace a life of expeditions, unstable pigments, and nights spent painting beneath the stars.
In her world, every Magus Painter makes their own paints using magical pigments, extracted from dangerous or mysterious places — forgotten craters, crystalline caves, shadowed forests, or the sides of extinguished celestial bodies… These materials are rare, unpredictable, sometimes even alive. And the best ones are nearly always… on the edge of the unreachable.
This is why the Guild regularly organizes massive supply expeditions — real missions where artisans leave their workshops to face the unknown. Some harvesting zones are so perilous they require help from other peoples: the Water Envoys guide harvesting through coral labyrinths, and Draconic Elves escort mages to floating islands and celestial peaks.
Once refined, these pigments can influence matter, dream, or even memory. Some are so magically potent they’re hard to control — even unstable. Their use is strictly reserved for renowned artisans, especially experienced Magus Painters within the military forces, the Legion of Arts, or elite teams affiliated with the Guild.
Such value naturally draws covetous eyes — poachers, traffickers, or rare artifact collectors. Expeditions are often watched… or attacked.
Mi’yu, however, doesn’t fear these dangers. In fact, she welcomes them.
Because every discovered pigment is a new color in her intimate vocabulary — an extra note in the cosmic score she silently tries to decipher.
As her creations grew stronger, she began to notice something strange.
During certain astrological phases — eclipses, stellar shadow crossings, blue moons — the Crystanimas, those living crystals she thought she understood, began to vibrate differently.
Not like enchanted objects. Not like unstable artifacts. Something more… ancient.
When she painted with their pigments during those moments, she felt resonances, almost conscious harmonies.
A feeling she couldn’t explain — as if the crystals remembered something.
As if a memory locked within their core was waiting to be heard.
Since then, Mi’yu has been trying to understand.
She dreams of composing a living astral fresco, painted only with these rare pigments, captured under open skies, when stars and crystalline echoes are in perfect resonance.
A work so vast that it would only come to life under the light of certain moons…
And maybe, on that day, it would answer her.
Not for glory.
Not for power.
But to unravel that sweet and haunting mystery:
Why do some Crystanimas seem… to remember?

Appearance
Mi'yu (みゆ) is a petite Nekomimi with a sensual and voluptuous allure. Her long feline tail, hair, and ears are a deep violet, tipped with black as if dipped in nocturnal ink.
Her hairstyle is asymmetrical: short curls in the back, two longer strands frame her face — one of them particularly long and decorated with a crossed hair clip — along with a small braid on the same side held by a second clip. Her fringe is long, pointed, and slightly uneven, sometimes falling over one eye.
Her eyes are amethyst violet, deep and expressive. When she channels more intense magic, especially astral in nature, they gradually shift to a radiant gold.
Outfit:
She wears a very short dark leather bustier with crisscross laces, a white bodysuit with garters attached to long white stockings, a blue denim microshort with frills on the sides, and open-toe leather ankle boots.
A wide belt with a pouch carries her pigment vials and magical accessories.
She also wears an asymmetrical drawing glove, a frilly leather choker, an earring… and sometimes her favorite Mage hat, shaped like an inverted moon.

Personality
Mi’yu is a sunlit dreamer in a lunar world.
She has a somewhat solitary nature, though she still needs to feel life vibrating around her. She loves to observe — people, stars. It's in these silent presences that she finds the most inspiration.
Sweet, mischievous, and a little wild, she follows her own feline rhythms and moods.
Like lunar phases, her mood shifts: affectionate, elusive, playful, focused, or sleepy… She can embody all of these in a single day, then vanish quietly for an impromptu nap or an entire night of painting.
She’s very cuddly with those she loves (especially Lúne), but reserves her affection for those she deeply trusts.
She’s fond of the famous NikuNyan — buns introduced to her by her friend Lúne, specially adapted for her feline tastes.
It is said they contain a… peculiar ingredient that, for certain feline natures, has strangely comforting effects.
After eating three or four, Mi’yu becomes soft as a melted star… and far less wild.
In her art, Mi’yu is a reference. Highly respected within the Guild, she is known for her mastery and instinct.
She works with precision, but never rushes: a well-placed nap, she says, is as strategic as a good pigment.
She loves unexpected naps (except where there are insects), clear nights, and collects inks prepared under precise astrological alignments.
Some are so powerful she keeps them sealed as talismans, to be used only in dire need.
And when she paints under the Moon, she sometimes whispers forgotten words — gentle starlit invocations, as if her brushes were translating the language of the stars.

Skills
Mi’yu is a Magus Painter with astral affinities.
She doesn’t draw with simple pigments: she paints with the stars. Her creations — though temporary — draw energy from lunar cycles, cosmic alignments, and celestial resonances invisible to the naked eye.
She channels this magic through her brushes, or sometimes simply with her fingertips, tracing ethereal shapes in the air that manifest as objects, creatures, or elemental phenomena.
During full moons, her illusions take on a silvery hue and an almost tangible fae quality.
During new moons, her creations become more mental, insidious, evoking powerful sensations without clear imagery.
During astrological conjunctions, she can summon full tactile mirages.
The more refined her drawing, the stronger, more convincing the illusion — sometimes even responsive to its surroundings.
✧ Special Techniques:
• Moondrop Illusion: Summons light-sensitive illusions, used during eclipses or full moons. The shapes glow with a gentle, striking silver aura.
• NikuLuna Nocturne: Creates a dreamlike chimera in the form of a giant floating Nikuman, radiating warmth and astral comfort.
• Starlit Ink: Rare ink made with stardust and lunar pigments captured during a solstice.
